Letter from Minra to the High Cheiftan#
Honorable High Chieftain, I greet you.
In this, my second report, I am happy to say that the subject “Shiver,” is cooperating. There are times during the questioning that I must… motivate… him to continue, but he speaks. Honorable High Chieftain, I greet you.
In this, my second report, I am happy to say that the subject “Shiver,” is cooperating. There are times during the questioning that I must… motivate… him to continue, but he speaks. His claims of skyborn victory are corroborated by our scout reports, as are his blasphemous assertions that the skyborn now somehow command our arts. Though this information has proven true, I request further time to interrogate and study him. He has already learned mindspeak, which has sped this process considerably. He has, however, said something of great concern to me. He speaks of a betrayal, of a prisoner trade. I do not speak of those times when we exchange war prisoners. No, he claims his leaders have traded our people to the skyborn, in exchange for their foul machinations. He always speaks of this with a bile in his mouth, and claims such an exchange betrays the great neutrality of Gala. I hope to gain further insight into this tomorrow.
